"Comfortable apartment, especially the bed. Unfortunately, WiFi internet was very slow, making it hard to stream anything. I asked the kid at the front desk about it. He agreed and said it was pretty bad throughout their buildings. The tv on the wall was just for decoration."

"This was a conveniently located hotel for exploring North/west Van. The room was a good size with useful amenities. Appreciated having the kitchen. The room had a strong smell from the detergents used which I’m very sensitive to, would definitely preferred. It to have that. There’s a nice courtyard to enjoy breakfast in, it could be a bit better maintained but overall pretty nice"

"We spent six nights at Hotel Opportune during a weekend getaway, and overall it exceeded expectations. The room was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed. Staff were consistently friendly and quick to help — the front desk even arranged a early checkin without any fuss"
English Bay Hotel

"This is an immaculately kept, older property conveniently located close to English Bay, Stanley Park and Granville Island market. The staff are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Our accommodation was equipped with a full kitchen but we ate out as there are many cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. We stayed three nights, parked our vehicle in a lot across the street for our entire stay and walked everywhere. We were fortunate to have brilliant weather the entire time."

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay! The location was amazing - just steps away from wonderful restaurants, ice cream/gelato shops, even a 7Eleven was only half a block away. A great beach was less than 4 blocks away. A great hotel in a fantastic location!"
