The place looks tired, dared, and half empty. Nobody around. The funny thing was, we were fine with it lol Kids loved the heated outdoor pool in the rain, turned the sauna on and had fun. Nobody to tell us no, we had fun not being riled to death, so it ended up working out good. Price made it all ok. Breakfast voucher at Timmies, our room was about $130. So not bad for tourist proce

I recently stayed at Cedars Inn Hotel & Convention Center in Gibsons, BC. Overall, it was a good experience for the price. The staff were very friendly and flexible with both check-in and check-out times, which I really appreciated. The room and facilities were reasonable considering the cost, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. The only downside was the breakfast arrangement. The hotel advertises that breakfast is included, but it is actually a voucher for Tim Hortons, which is about a 10–15 minute walk away. This might not be convenient for everyone, especially in the morning. Aside from that, everything else was good, and overall it is a worthwhile place to stay if you are looking for something affordable in Gibsons.

The balcony was nice and good location, but the staff gave out my room number to somebody I didn't want to see without asking me first and they were able to get into the hotel and knock on my door without a key. I'm very disappointed in that and it could be a major safety hazard for somebody else. Also when I asked what time the hot tub closed they said 9 without telling me that the hot tub was completely closed for maintenance, I went and bought a bathing suite for that! There were also weird yellow droplets on the roof of the bathroom. And the free breakfast isn't in the hotel, they give you a voucher for tim Hortons a few blocks away.

The room was not worth $250.90, not even close, still disappointed. We paid $180 for a lousy pet friendly room plus $70 in pet fees on check-in because I was told by woman working front desk it was $35/pet/night and we had two pets but the hotel policy says $35/night for up to two pets, so I was over charged $35. The bed was squeaky and you can feel the springs. All windows were sealed and had to keep front door open for fresh air, not ideal with pets and room facing highway and children running around screaming. There was a loud party until 2am in one room and at one point it sounded like someone was thrown against the wall right next to our bed shaking our suite, twice, I literally checked my phone to see if there was an earthquake and aftershocks. The room above us children were jumping and stomping on floor until midnight. The room against the other wall had children knocking and banging on wall. Children were screaming and yelling outside. Literally the worst sleep and hotel experiences I’ve ever had.

Terrible housekeeping, you have to tell them to clean the room. They just dropped off new towels and made the bed. The floor near the entrance was full of shoe marks. The bathroom was covered with water grime and they didn't even bother to clean !
