「If I could create my own hotel it would be this one. It was the perfect place for us. Our room had a spectacular view. It was a spacious corner room with a pleasant balcony overlooking sail boats and yachts in Penobscot Bay. The lobby was equally impressive, creatively designed allowing for numerous paintings by talented local artists where we enjoyed both tea and a glass of wine during our stay. We will be back. 」

「We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday. The weather was perfect. We would definitely stay again. 」

「We were just staying for a quick evening and had to leave at 7:00 so missed the breakfast. The front desk representative was adorable, great first impression. We asked for a basic room and got it, so no complaints. However my husband needed a desk so if you need a desk definitely up grade to deluxe. One of the best showers ever, loved the strong pressure.
