「We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. 「the room space is just a bit small which is a little bit out of expectation (as the photos seen quite large) but the environment is still very good and the cleaning service is well done, receptionists are very nice as well. Good!」

「Room ok, but peeling paper above window and broken window catches and broken lamp shade by bed (window side). Bathroom needed a plug for the sink, mould on ceiling above the bath/shower and mastic should have been removed from the tiles (near sink and over bath) where soap dispensers had been removed. No brandy at the bar. Chips supplied with meal were luke warm (nobody came to ask if things were OK). Had to ask for full breakfast to be reheated. Stayed here before, so rather disappointed this...
