"The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and within walking distance of the state fair. (Less than a mile walk) my husband and I enjoyed the very spacious room. I did think it was odd that there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. You have to call a number once you get there."

Rooms are upstairs from the bar so you’ll hear the music until 10 PM. Not an issue if you’re in the bar which has a very cool vibe to include the play lists. There’s a separate restaurant section for non-drinkers.Good surveillance - door locks are dated but functional. The staff is warm, friendly and certainly add to the magic."
"This is a cute little hotel in the center of town. Our room, 203, was small but well appointed, very clean, with a comfortable bed, I'm not sure if all rooms are like this but our bed was against the wall so somebody had to crawl in and out. There is not a manned front desk, you are given instructions, and a key code, but the folks who run this are on the other end of a phone and there are more than helpful. I had booked two separate stays back to back, to get things straight and they helped, so we didn't have to check in and check out, and we could keep the same room. If you have questions, don't hesitate to call them"
