「The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Emma in particular went well out of her way to help. The company is lucky to have her. The car park is in poor xondition and not lit at all.」

She went over and above to help us with our inquiries re the local area, the local cemetery and the local council. We cant thank her enough. As well as helping me with my booking mistakes (on the internet) she was a mine of information re Scottish history and the area in general. To add to that, the breakfasts were great, taken in a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff there...

The room was quiet, well-lit, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of storage and convenient amenities. I especially appreciated the clean bathroom and strong water pressure in the shower. The kitchen was a huge bonus—fully equipped, clean, and easy to use, which made cooking meals really convenient....

「Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.」
