As well as helping me with my booking mistakes (on the internet) she was a mine of information re Scottish history and the area in general. 「Absolutely fantastic stay. West Plean is a beautiful property in a lovely rural location but only 10 minutes from Stirling City Centre. Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the room, which was replenished each day. 「Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.」
