We both enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by Susan who made us feel very welcome and Susan helped us decide where to eat out that evening. Good choice. Our room was very clean, with crisp clean bedding and spotless bathroom. Good powerful shower, plenty of towels. The room was lovely and warm and cosy and we both slept well and we were surprised at how comfortable the bed was. The Premier Lodge had other guests at the time, however, the night was peaceful and quiet.

Dirty room with old stained carpet. Bed was terrible and the pillows were the cheapest I have ever seen. Don’t stay here unless you can get drunk to tolerate it. Almost nothing nearby as well in terms of restaurants or attractions

We stayed overnight ahead of the Kelpies half marathon and in terms of location it was excellent with a 15 min walk to the Kelpies and dedicated parking outside the hotel. Facilities were pretty basic however the hotel and the room were clean and warm and for a one night stay it had everything required. One window in our room was stuck open which wasn't a huge issue but I imagine when the weather gets colder, it could be a problem.
