Castles in Ellis County

This is a beautiful old historic home that has been converted into a bed and breakfast. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The hosts, Mary and Howard, went out of the way to make me feel welcomed. The breakfasts were out of this world delicious! The B&B is near downtown Waxahachie and very convenient to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. I highly recommend this place and personally will be staying there again next year when attending the Festival.

Overall great experience, we just spent 1 night at this hotel but we really liked it.

Breakfast setup

To the receptionist that loves pink I forget her name she should get a raise. Easy check in loved her.

I loved that there was a Target right next to us -walking distance and plenty of food choices like Olive Garden and Panera and Chick Fil-A!

The property had rooms that were available with hot tubs in the room itself. It was a cool feature.

The young man that checked us in was so nice and accommodating. Our room was very nice. Beds were great. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Friendly service and clean

Easy access from the highway, indoor pool, & breakfast included.

First time in a hotel with pets, so far it’s been pretty good!

The property was very clean. I didn't like that the side door was broken and that they had a towel holding the door open so just anyone could go in the hotel.

We stay here often and it is ALWAYS a very pleasant experience! We love the staff, especially "Melissa" and "The Head Laundry lady with the beautiful smile!" They treat us like family! Thanks "The Best America's Best Value Inn EVER!"

Friendly staff very helpful and accommodating. Quiet place for a restful night sleep.
