I was there briefly , went tp the Gamble mansion down the street , there were extensive roadworks going on which made life more difficult but it seems ok and handy for other attractions

We stayed here for ready access to spring training baseball games. Also had nice restaurants and easy access to the beach.

"THE Carlisle Inn? Let me just say that due to my occupation, I spend roughly 2 mos/ yr in hotels. Mostly Bonvoy & Hilton properties. Carlisle Inn tops them all. Luxury-level service for a modest price! The excellent food at the restaurant was home-cooked & the desserts are irresistible. I wish the Carlisle Inn was everywhere I travel, because I'd rack up loyalty points for sure!"
