My real complaint was the parking issue. It was a hassle to find the parking, one of the workers gave us the convoluted route to their parking spaces and once we parked there, we were told we couldn’t because we had to buy a parking pass and they were sold out… so we had to park at Sundial and for one night the price was almost $40. Mind you, we parked around 5pm and left at 10AM. I mean the room is decent. And their valet parking, which is in a garage right next to the building, is only available on Fridays and Saturdays and we were there on a Thursday. Which literally makes no sense. The shower could’ve been cleaner. The shower pressure was the best thing about the hotel. Also there was only one working elevator and 12 floors. So that was great. And there wasn’t any amenities for real. Would I come back? Absolutely not. Would I reccomend? Only if you don’t have a car :)

My Girlfriend and I went for the weekend as a little getaway. Randy, who was the gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and welcoming. Once we went up to our room we were more than happy. The only downside was the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. We informed the other gentleman (i don’t remember his name) about the issue and they took care of it almost immediately. Randy made sure that housekeeping went up and properly cleaned not only the bathroom but the entire room. It made our stay more enjoyable and also gave peace of mind that our bathroom was properly cleaned. Randy did an amazing job attacking the problem while still remaining professional and friendly. Thank you so much Randy if you end up seeing this !

Staff was great, hotel itself was nice. Cleanliness was okay, Ive definitely seen worse. It was nothing detrimental. The location is great, 10 minute walk to vinoy(we came for RRU) If you have ever been to st. Pete, parking is as expected for the area: pay for valet on some days, or pay to park a couple blocks away, no biggie. They do have free onsite parking but it is limited, but again, if you have ever been to downtown st. Pete, this is typical& i cant be mad at it. We were made aware, upon arrival, that some of their free parking would open up the next day if we wanted to move our car to their lot(we just forgot to ask about it that morning). The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was spacious. I do wish there was a microwave in the room, as we had to go to the second floor to use a shared one(a breakroom style room) but again, we were there for an event nearby& didnt spend a ton of time at the hotel, so none of these things impacted our stay tremendously. My only true gripe is that there isnt continental breakfast. The coffee shop in the lobby was good, but I wish breakfast was included, for how much we spent on the stay. If you’re in st. Pete for an event, its a great location to quickly get back& get some rest& you most likely wont be spending a ton of time at the hotel anyways. If you just like to stay at hotels& dont plan on leaving, it may leave some to be desired for. What you make of it is kind of up to you. Overall, would stay again!

Check in staff was very friendly & helpful. We had to stop in early as we were going to a festival at Vinoy Park. The staff was very accomodating & helped us with parking. Only one block off the bay, located walking distance to shops. bars & resterants. Very clean, nice room!

Good location. The room was clean but had wear and tear visible. It included a fridge that did not keep anything cold and was actually relatively hot when you opened the door which worried me a bit. Noisy in the halls - someone had a dog and it kept up up one night and the phone in the room did not work as we tried to figure out the Wifi code (never given to us upon arrival) when the Samsung television broke and rebooted. We never got that issue sorted. There is not parking located at the hotel itself despite advertising valet parking. The parking is at another hotel that has a series of 3 locked parking lots about a block away. If you have mobility issues you should keep that in mind. We were okay with this, however, they put in a new keycard security system to access the locked gates (in and out) and we were met with numerous issues which kept resulting in our keycards deactivating and not allowing us inside the lot, out of the lot and not working in our rooms at the Galaxy. I kept seeing the same employee with the same issue and he said no one else had complained so I was doing something wrong. Nice service. The employee at the Exchange hotel (which is where the lots are located) had to also help me in and out of the parking lots numerous times. Upon check out, I inquired about a refund as $20 per day for this and was ignored. I emailed and received no response.

Our room was only cleaned once (the first day) over the course of our 4 day stay even though we left the room for several hours each day. This was very difficult as there was no carpet in the room (dirty floors/ dirty feet). Trash piled up, and we ran out of clean towels. No parking.

The hotel room that I stayed in was very dirty. So much so that I went to purchase my own cleaning supplies to wipe down dirty surfaces in the bathroom, thick with dust and others’ hair. I wore sandals in the shower. The usual soap, shampoo, conditioner bottles were not supplied. This may be standard at certain hotels but the cleaning crew did not change the sheets when they cleaned the room throughout my stay. Parking was down the street at the Exchange hotel in a lot that was not secure, but nothing happened to my vehicle - just something to note. I went up to the hotel roof/lookout area, but it was empty and the bar was deserted, maybe it only opens at certain times. It was a very nice view but I wish I could’ve had a beverage or app. There was a nice coffee shop right in the lobby with an amazing banana bread matcha drink. The hotel is in a great location, you can walk down the street to the pier and just a few blocks to restaurants, Central Ave bars. Lastly, there were some rowdy guests staying around me making a lot of noise and slamming doors throughout the night so unfortunately I was pretty tired throughout my trip.

the experience was not bad but for the price they are charging you would expect it to be MUCH more high end also the parking situation is a NIGTMARE we had to park our car several blocks away just to have it there overnight you would expect that when you are on a vacation and you are paying THIS amount of money that you wouldn't have to worry about anything but the parking was a absolute mission for that I say if you are taking your car on the trip to this hotel be ready to walk A LOT and be ready to pay for that parking as well we found a garage luckily that let us leave our car overnight it was about $40 the hotel has valet but the lot is "always full" so besides that everything else was OKAY I wouldn't stay here again but if you need something in downtown and have no other choice go for it

The shower head had more water coming from the connection on top than the actual head and the bathroom counter has a big crack in it. We were also only given bottled water for the first day when we checked in and were there for 3 days.
