「Brilliant service, friendly staff, clean, well stocked room, bed wasn’t the comfiest for me but that’s a personal choice. As to be expected with a period property there are quirks, lots of creaky floorboards in our room but nt a lot could be done about this. Overall - fantastic!」

「We had a lovely time at the Glen Clova hotel, it's set in beautiful scenery and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and our room was very quiet. Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.」

「Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. 」

「We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place.」

「Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+」

「Loved this area and the hotel staff! Everyone super nice and helpful. The area was great! It had many shops and some restaurants. I recommend Ruby nail salons (great pedicure and massage chairs!). I also must mention that I had an excellent massage therapy session with Suzanne at Saatva Wellness Center! As to the hotel, dining was really good! On-site was a pool and sauna. There is an elevator from ground to first floor only. I was very grateful to be able to get a first floor room as I have...
