We arrived late after dinner in Gino’s a nice little Italian restaurant in Stonehaven. Michelle got us acquainted and quickly checked in leaving us a nice homemade tasty chocolate treat which went great with our early morning coffee. David “Bend it like Beckham” (kidding) greeted us for breakfast leaving a plate of Scottish Pancakes that brought back fond childhood memories. Breakfast was superb. Lovel being in the country and so close to Donator Castle. Don’t miss staying here … it was just perfect !!!

Stayed as part of the Stonehaven Folk Festival. The owners were very friendly plus provided excellent access for our arrival time! Breakfast was homemade fresh including fresh baked bread and homemade jams. Full Scottish or continental breakfasts were offered. The hosts even served us extra early on the last morning to help us with our departure flight schedule. Rooms were bright, spacious, and very comfortable with open air skylights and light shades. Property was only a few minutes out of town and well versed on Google Maps. We were very pleased with our visit and will definitely stop in again.

This is a great little bed and breakfast, out in the middle of farming country in rural Scotland. We were there to explore several of the little villages out that way, so this was the perfect location! Breakfast was terrific, the room was spacious and cozy. We'd definitely stay here again!

Comfy stay with friendly hosts

We felt very welcome despite arriving after check in hours. Aside from the friendly host, there were delicious pieces of cake waiting for us. The breakfast was a treat and the hosts very kind. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

We liked most things, it was well organised and little touches had been added to make one's stay as pleasant as possible. The owners were very friendly and told us about the surrounding area and even booked dinner for us at a local hotel. We would have preferred a larger bed but that was only a small point.
