Lovely place to visit

Very good value for money. Food was fantastic and the staff all very friendly. En-suite was a bit dated, but fully functional. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a gem of a hotel, staff are so attentive and friendly, room was comfy and cosy. The food is up there with any top notch restaurant, especially if you like seafood! Great selection of beers, gins, whisky, wine as well. All in all a perfect 10 out of 10!

Great Scottish Gem!

Loved our stay at The Anchor apartment. Host (and locals) very friendly and welcoming. Can't fault The Anchor for that well earned break away!

Lovely food, room, staff and area. Cute family room. Cosy with everything you need for a night away. Plenty towels, tea, coffee etc. dinner in hotel and breakfast were amazing. Will be back!

Anchor hotel

It was a beautiful space, with a lot of extra touches-they left lights on and heating do when we checked in it was warm and welcoming. They had everything you could think of and a nice sized kitchen. We thought it might be noisy but the accommodation is actually over the road from the pub and has stunning views! Lots of local beautiful walks. Food was amazing in the anchor hotel-we had a family meal of 15 and the service was amazing and the meal was one of the best I’ve had!

We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around.

Stayed one night. Room we had was small but for one night was ok, the room was clean but bathroom could do with an upgrade. No soundproofing, could hear everything through the wall. Breakfast was an extra £12.50 each was a fine breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, lots of choices, great fish and seafoods selection and what we had was lovely. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had great service.
