「We had a wonderful stay . It was warm and comfortable and I loved the decor it was within keeping for an old style pub. The bath for me was a real treat as we only have showers at home . The menu is great and the breakfast was enough. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We will be opting to stay again next year. 」

「Very charming. We had a lovely dinner in front of a crackling log fire. My partner’s onion soup was the best he’d ever tasted, even better than fancy restaurants in Paris! The bedroom was set apart from the main building so it was nice and quiet and we slept well. We got up early for winter solstice sunrise at Stonehenge intending to be back in time for breakfast, however we were a little late back, but the owner was very accommodating and made sure we still got fed. We would happily stay there...

「only stayed one night whilst visiting a friend locally. really impressed with friendly staff. spacious venue. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks. Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy. Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...

The room was lovely and spotless and the bed super comfy and breakfast delicious ... but it's the extra special touches and extra special team there that takes this to another level!! There's free drinks in your bedroom, a very comfortable residents only lounge with more complimentary drinks (as you can see in the pics). That was a huge bonus and the staff were brilliant!
