Great location, pleasant traditional rustic bar with some good ales. Rooms were dated and bathroom needed some tlc.but for our needs it was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and kept me going all day. The dinning area was rustic too, but ok for us. Would use again.

Staff member who showed us around breakfast facilities was very pleasant. Phoned ahead and we're told we could have the use of an iron, asked upon arrival and were assured it would be brought up to us - it wasn't. The room could do with a mirror and hairdryer. I would describe the experience as adequate for a one night stay.

Hotellet er et lille hotel med Pub i en landsby. Værelserne var rummelige og personalet super venlige. Hotellet kræver nok at man har en bil for at kunne komme rundt, men det giver den særlige stemning af at bo i et engelsk lokalsamfund.

I’d booked and paid for a room via Expedia. When I arrived I was told that I would not be staying there as they were fully booked and they had no rooms available. They claimed that there had been a change of ownership/management the week before and even though I myself had only booked two days before my arrival they denied any knowledge of my booking. I was left trying to find an alternative place to stay at 7pm on a Saturday night. Beware of pre booking if this is how they now treat guests. You’ll find that walk in enquiries paying cash appear to now have priority!

Room and bathroom were clean however bathroom was in need of some refurbishment, also floor of shower was very slippery when wet. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was fine although would have liked a selection of fresh fruit.

Dejlig Pub, med fine værelser. Fantastisk morgenmad (Full English). Tilbyder WIFI, men hastighed er ekstrem dårlig, tæt på lig nul. Vælg den for morgenmaden og beliggenhed, men regn ikke med at have WIFI overhovedet!

This is a great pub in a village location. We stayed on a Saturday night so expected noise up until closing time. Bed comfortable, a couple of bottles of water and toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly. We stayed when it was hot outside so room was very warm which resulted in an unpleasant sleep. As we were in the rooms outside the pub which are single story we didn’t feel comfortable keeping the windows open all night. A fan could have assisted. Overall the stay was good value for money.
