"Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and a highlight of the stay. Bed was really comfortable. Location was perfect, walkable to everything and it had great atmosphere. The bathroom needs a refresh, the shower particularly felt like it needed redoing, sealant and grout were grotty. The main thing I’d improve is the lighting - it was those horrible, cold, harsh, cheap old fashioned energy saving bulbs need to be replaced by warmer LED’s. We had to put a cloth over them to stop feeling like we were sitting in the meat section of a supermarket. I’d definitely stay again though, it was good value for the location and the vibe was really good."
