「The General Palmer was an awesome hotel. I loved the historic aspect of the hotel, especially the elevator. The outdoor seating area overlooking the mountains, downtown, and the Durango and Silverton railroad depot was great too. The breakfast in the morning was good also.」

「Bed sheets, pillows were smelling bad, they didn’t have clean ones, tub was bad, couch really dirty, carpet. I have use this facility somewhere else and they isn’t bad at all like this one.」

「Very reasonable! The floor were not clean however. Asked to Remop because there were foot prints around the unit. The older woman at the front desk made some silly excuse. Later I ended up getting paper towels and water and cleaned them Myself. So much dirt😝 After that I was comfortable. Bed was good」

「For the price the room was so so but pretty noisy being on the first floor. The shower was a polar experience as there was zero hot water. I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a night. There is a nice park behind the motel, easy access across a little bridge that crosses a creek for walking your dog so that was nice. The front desk woman was nice and helpful as well.」

「Our only difficulty were the guests above us making a lot of noise going back a forth on the floor for about an hour while we were trying to go to sleep. We did not complain to management.」
