「Beautiful place, friendly attentive staff」

「Staff was honest. Hotel was a mess. Remodel? Was in progress. We traveled from states away and hoped to feel at home and relaxed but it was a mess. Bummed the pool was gross with windows being replaced and construction was in process. For the amount of money we booked for this hotel, I was not impressed! The front desk staff attendant was professional and honest — however the room had a leaky toilet and the pool construction was huge bummer. Charlevoix was beautiful though. Probably the worst...

「Great location to downtown and very clean. We had a room upstairs and could hear all of the hallway noise, but perfect for a quick stay. Note: there are no hairdryers so plan to pack your own!」

「Great room close to the lake and shopping. The entire area was hit with damaging snow and ice all winter but the property owners must have worked extremely hard to keep up. The ice unit needs replaced, but besides that the beds were heaven, the parking lot was recently sealed and striped and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating.」

「We had a 2 night stay and were not informed at check in the room wouldn't be made up daily. We can appreciate re-using towels but for the price they should have made the bed, taken out the trash, restocked our coffee, and replaced the disposable coffee cups. I had to make 3 trips to the lobby to get Coffee and cups.」

「Room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was decent but there was no hot tub 😢 The parking lot was sketchy. It needs replaced or patched. There were people working on cars (plural) in the parking lot and roaming around. I didn't feel very safe staying here.」

「No elevator. Facility was old, but clean and maintained. Did not utilize breakfast. Everyone of staff was beyond professional, caring, and friendly. These people did not have much to work with, but made it a welcoming and comfortable place to stay anyway. Don’t be afraid to stay here.」

「It was the little touches from the personalized note to wonderful selections of beverages and snacks in my room. The dinner menu, though brief, had variety. I had a new item, ricotta on sour dough toast.........it was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive, I will be sure to recommend.」
