The location was great. It’s down the street from both The Lake and Downtown. However, the building is quite dated. The rooms I would describe as one step above rustic. Bathroom

The room was ok but the floors were so loud and creeky. Wish there had been a little table beside both sides of bed, not just one. Hard to have anything accessible except on floor. Also wished there were drinking glasses and Kleenex. Bed was super comfortable and location of Inn just perfect. All in all worth the money I guess.

Steffen, the Host, was absolutely wonderful! His breakfasts were delicious. I had the most peaceful and pleasant stay and I would highly recommend The Charlevoix House. All the shops and beaches were within walking distance. I would also recommend the Mushroom House tour.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Charlevoix House! Stefhan was an excellent host who created such a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere for all the guests—it truly felt like we were staying with family. Waking up to the wonderful smell of breakfast was such a nostalgic experience and really reminded me of home. It made our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

Loved Stephen and the kitty. He was very helpful and even got up at 6am with a bagged breakfast since we had to miss his cooking. Great location walking maybe 5 min to downtown shops, waterfront. Close to mushroom houses. We loved it

This was our first B&B experience, and we loved it! The house was charming, and we really enjoyed sitting on the front porch. The location was great—easy walk to downtown and to the benches along Lake Michigan for sunset. Be sure to book a day or sunset sail in advance because they sell out. Petoskey is also a beautiful little town, just 20 minutes away. Steffan was a wonderful host and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. And waking up to the smell of his homemade breakfast was the best—it was delicious! We’d definitely stay here again!
