"We had a delightful stay at The Earl. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar and the pool that was open to the outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Earl!"

Weathervane Terrace Inn and Suites

"This is not the place to stay if you have weak knees or legs or generally not a strong able bodied person. We stayed on the second floor and had trouble with the old metal stairs. There are not many to climb but it was difficult for us, two seniors to navigate the stairs with luggage. No elevator as there are only two floors. Had we known about the metal stairs, and rough skinny metal railings, we would have asked to be on the first floor. The hotel was beautiful, the room was gorgeous and super comfortable. Our smoke detector went off within 5 minutes of turning the portable AC unit off. They said that was a common occurence. Good to know! No shower steam, no smoke, just high humidity coming from Lake Charlevoix. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, just not on the second floor. (We are 76 and 78). The restaurant has fabulous food, better than what the ratings said. Staff is terrific...Loved our suite...thank you."
