"Basically just used the room, but no issues and a great location"

"Room was clean, bathroom very small making difficult for my wife who has mobility issue. Stairs had threadbare carpet and ground floor reception area very basic and not particularly inviting. Dining staff member was helpful and did his best for us. It was a bed for night."

"Clean and fresh. Staff accommodating, polite and helpful New windows very draughty and room cold for several hours after arrival. Plumbing suspect as shower only worked intermittently and cold water tap faulty. Location ok and lovely sea views"

"The location is okay, however the hotel is old and in very bad condition. The room they gave me at first had a huge window in the bathroom and no shades, also the curtain shower did not close properly and there was a ball of hair in the corner of the bathroom floor: nasty, horrible, disgusting, unacceptable. I complained and they gave me another room which was better but still bad. Breakfast was poor. I do not recommend this hotel. "

"Cozy rooms, atmospheric decor, friendly staff, and a convenient location just around the corner from Oban Distillery. The on-site beer (and whisky) garden is a great amenity, and bar staff are very knowledgeable about what they’re pouring. "

"Old hotel room was very nice and updated and very comfortable accompanied by lovely breakfast. The hotel location is perfect facing the harbour view and few steps away from the train station. Highly recommended."
