"The room (my was 204) was dirty, bed sheets were with stains and not cleaned, one floor tile broken, toilet tank cracked on top, holes in the bathroom walls, hole in bathroom door, toilet didn't flush properly, underneath faucet at shower without wall plate, bathroom mirror broken at one corner, ottoman cushion next to bed had a cigarette burn; a lots of dust behind tables and sofa; back wall of the closet repaired without matching paint, shower gel deposit completed empty, walls had black scratches in different places."

"We stayed in room #5. The room was very nice and had a view of the building next door that was covered in English Ivy. We loved seeing all of the birds darting in and out of the Ivy! The only thing I would change in this room would be the location of the wall mounted hair dryer in the bathroom. The location made using the sink a bit awkward."

"Quaint motel very well upkept. Has a classic Americana / Route 66 feel but it's near Lake Michigan. Multiple fire pits, grills, play area, and quiet!! Highly recommend. "

"Pros: great views and downtown location. Book a harbor view you won’t be disappointed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Super comfortable bed and the kitchenette area was exactly what we needed, cofffw pot, microwave, sink and a fridge that worked great. Silverware, glassware and plates also available. Cons: I thought we booked two double beds but it was a king and a fold out couch. Lots of stairs too, they put us in a second floor room and we had several big bags and were traveling with a bike too. I highly recommend you book directly through the hotel itself if you have any mobility issues or challenges with stairs or have lots of luggage. Hotels dot com will not help you book a room to fill your needs."

"Great location for a visit to downtown Saugatuck & neighboring Holland. Two story property. Choose room, if possible, on the 2nd floor so you are not bothered by the creaking ceiling from guests above you! The breakfast area is very small. There are food trays available if you have to eat in your room. The offerings are:bread, small pastries, cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, scrambled eggs, a breafkast meat, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, and a coffee table in the reception are-right outside the eating area. The room is comfortable. We had two Queen size beds with plenty of pillows- which are very soft. Bring your own if you need a support pillow."

"Room and hotel in general is super clean. Staff was friendly and prompt checking us in. There are a few hotels in this area, and we've stayed at a couple different ones during our visits, but this is by far our favorite. Definitely recommend!"

"Terry is an incredibly welcoming and kind (and funny!) host, and we enjoyed our stay very much. She made breakfast each morning for everyone, which was not only really pleasant to have a home-cooked meal, but also very delicious. She picks her fruit perfectly and makes breads and other yummies that are fantastic. The property is incredibly serene and relaxing, in a beautiful countryside setting. The home and grounds were all very nice and clean. Definitely 5 stars. The only minor qualm we had is that staying on the bottom floor other guests and the top floor was noisy each morning come 6 am which you could not sleep through as the footsteps and such travel really easily into the bottom floor bedroom."

"Musty smelling room, but somewhat expected due to age of building. Room was clean, bed was good. Only had about 4 minutes of hot water then it went cold."
