"It has become one of my favorite places to stay for business over the past few months. The good news is that they’re renovating, so the rooms now look modern with wood floors and removed popcorn ceilings. The bathroom is also slightly newer. I was pleased with the refresh. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is consistently pleasant. This was the first time I was able to try the breakfast; it was just so-so. The options were okay, but I wasn’t thrilled. I will say I wasn’t crazy about this stay due to the noise from some other guests on the 6th floor. On the first night, it seemed like kids were running all over the floor, knocking on doors late into 2 am., waking me up twice. The second day, it felt like I could hear someone two doors down from me shouting on the phone. I’m not sure if it’s because of less insulation or what with the removal of the carpeting. Lastly, there was no glass door on the shower—just a makeshift shower curtain—and the water pressure was low with lukewarm water, which I’m assuming is due to renovations (giving BOD). Not my favorite stay this time, but overall, it’s better than some other hotels in the area for business travel. Hopefully, next month will be better. Also, I appreciate them letting me check in early. "

"Clean. Kind front desk staff. Nice lobby happy hour and very sweet lady pouring our drinks. The attached restaurant was delicious and beautiful. Our waiter was amazing. The bed was comfortable. Quiet. Didnt hear other guests. Great location! Walked to power plant and back friday night. Was short walk. Also in morning walked to miss shirleys cafe. Loved having a balcony sliding glass door that we could open. Glad we booked here. "

"Was placed in a room that I didn't reserve. The room was not filthy but lacked deep cleaning. Trash behind the night stands dust, dirt, and water marks on furniture. The bathroom was painted terribly with paint on tiles like someone was in a rush and didnt care what they were doing. The hallway smelled like pee. The person when I checked in was very rude but the rest of the staff was nice. "

"I have been a frequent guest at this property but will not return due to the new parking fees that WERE NOT outlined on Expedia when I made my reservation, Expedia only indicated Self Parking Available but no fee which felt like bait and switch when I realized 2 days in there was a QR code I hadn't been using and not notified at the front desk about the change in parking from free to $10.99 a day and a very difficult process for registering and for in/out privileges. Shower floor was sticky and laminate on floor in the room was not cleaned. "

"Wifi is slow but workable. Gym is very small as expected. One of the treadmills was broken and one was in use so had to return to the room. "
