Hotel was a little outdated. Doors slam loudly even when trying to avoid it. Staff was pleasant enough but seemed slightly inconvenienced that I inquired about early check in. Actual stay was horrible due to no fault of the hotel. Neighbor was blaring music all night and their balcony backed up to ours and they were partying on the balcony so loudly that I had to call down to the desk in the middle of the night. Otherwise was a decent enough stay for 1 night. Super close to the aquarium and piers which was fantastic!

Hotel is beautiful, and well located, but the rooms are dated and need upgrading. The water pressure in the room was very poor, to the point where a showers was difficult and the tub took very long to drain. Breakfast in the hotel was overpriced for what was offered. This is our fourth visit to this hotel over the past 10 years. It is definitely showing the wear over time.

Very clean hotel in a great location particularly for our visit to see a concert at Pier 6. Was able to walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Felt safe and could walk along the water for some nice views. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Had a happy hour from 4 to 6 with 2 free drinks, so we sat in the spacious lobby on a comfortable sofa and had a couple of drinks and really enjoyed ourselves. Over all just a nice hotel in a great location. Parking next to the hotel at a cost, but very convenient. We parked once and then walked to everything we wanted to do. I would recommend staying there to anyone visiting the inner harbor or staying over night to check out the city. Just a recommendation, the beds are comfortable, but the pillows are bulky. No problem having some like that but some flatter ones in the room for those who do not like to have their necks at a severe angle would be great. We would stay there again, but probably bring our own pillows.

this property is very old and the furniture and lighting was in ill repair. The balcony was just a tared roof with decaying seating. The one team member was wonderful that registered us. The automatic doors to the building did not work and were broken. They didn't even have paper towels in the lobby rest room and were using paper napkins. No money has been invested in this property for many years. Our carpet was sol old you could see the shape of the concrete below the rug. It was a poor value

The quality of the rooms (sheets, towels, beds, etc.) were not as I expected. Very low quality. The hotel is in a great location-walkable to everything. The happy hour was amazing- great quality of drinks and excellent homemade crab dip! We booked 2 queen beds but were given a king. The hotel said it was our third party who made the mistake?? They didn't seem to care when we shared our concern.

So, so close and convenient to get to all of the Inner Harbor attractions!! The water shuttle is right at the back door and the aquarium is just over the walking bridge! Wonderful Stay ...Wonderful, kind, joyful and helpful People on staff there!!!

IN DIRE NEED OF REFRESH -- We knew this place had dated decor from the pictures, but selected it for its proximity to the National Aquarium and the harbor-view balcony. However, the original room we received was on the 2nd floor, and the balcony view was of an HVAC area. The area was fenced off, but from the other side, so passers-by wouldn't see the dystopian pumps and pipes. When sitting on the balcony, it was as if you were in the HVAC area, and you could dip your toes in the rusty water of the roof. The balcony was clearly used only by smokers, as evidenced by the litter of butts. If you stood on your toes, you could see water above the fenceline. They replaced our room with another with a better view (3rd floor), but it didn't have a balcony. Because we had a decent deal with Expedia on the original room, they said the trade-off was equitable to the value of the replacement room - so no discount or complimentary breakfast. Had we known the rooms would be so tired and worn out we would have gladly paid the $60 more for the Hyatt Regency around the corner, which is much more updated, plus has a pool. The walk to the Aquarium would have been still manageable. The room was clean, but in addition to the chipped surfaces and globby caulking, we found the sheets scratchy (low-thread count), a few of our towels were threadbare, and the mattress overly firm.
