「Good staff」

「The spa and pool was love, we realkt enjoyed it, but we had no kettle in our room we walked to reception and asked for one, I offered to collect it and take it back but they saud no a member of staff will bring it , we never received it, so couldn't have any drinks in our room, room was clean but dated , but on the whole we enjoyed it, breakfast was great」

Wife rang hotel today and person who answered automatically guessed what the issue was suggesting this is a very common issue with this hotel. 「I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. The carpets were thread bear in places and had tape over some of the larger holes. The floors were very uneven to walk over. The furniture was very dated. The bedroom door was just a lightweight internal door, and not a fire rated...

「A little gem that we will definitely return to. Rooms were finished to a high quality - not just style over substance. Beds comfy, shower amazing, hot tub fab and one of the best nights sleep for a while. Paired with excellent food and service at Bowling Green Inn, would highly recommend 👍」

「We stayed in a beautiful hive which was nicely done and the hotel itself was beautiful. We were disappointed not to have a bath or to be able to use any the sauna facilities and that whole building seemed to be in the midst of renovation. We were also surprised that breakfast wasn’t included and that when we ordered English breakfasts we didn’t get any toast and when we asked for some were then charged £2.50 per slice. I feedback when we departed that I was not impressed but nothing was done...

「Stayed for business. Wifi poor, furniture very worn, generally needs some TLC. TV had no signal and staff seemed to be aware of issue but it has never been fixed. Food good ans parking easy.」
