Lovely grounds and fabulous spa facilities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The ladies at the reservation entrance were all exceptional. Jasmine who works at the spa did a fabulous job on sprucing up my tired hands. I felt like a Disney princess after she did her magic on my pedicure!

Room very comfortable and dinner good but stay spoiled by a fire alarm evacuation at around 1.20 for over an hour outside in the cold and wet with no guidance or information on what to do. No apparent fire or fire brigade attendance and no informed staff available. This led to a very disturbed night. We were informed in the morning that it had been a false alarm and the culprit had been found. Better management of the event would have been appreciated.

Stayed overnight with my wife whilst on business in the area. Nice place - typical Champneys sort of thing. Room was fine, food in restaurant really good, nice beer in the bar. The room was actually very reasonably priced on the night we were there

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was comfy and view was lovely. Spa was fantastic Room service menu is limited and only available until 9pm. In the shower, there is no shower gel bottle so had to reach over the sink to get some shower gel. If there was a soap dish, I would have put some in there and brought into the shower.

There is no lift at the property, had to carry bags all the way by stairs to the second floor. Too many lady bugs in the room. Service was poor. Called reception for bottled water which was never delivered despite following up. Shower tap was too hard to turn. Water pressure from shower was low. No hand shower in the bath tub. Overall not a great experience.

Perfect Stay for Grandparents – Accessible, Warm & Welcoming Booked a stay here for my grandparents and they were overjoyed. The hotel was clean, peaceful, and easy to get around, with great accessibility throughout. The staff were especially kind and attentive—nothing was too much trouble, and they made my grandparents feel truly welcome. They loved the comfortable room and relaxing atmosphere. Service was poor upon arrival, the hotel layout is also poor as you have to go back outside to the rooms which in bad weather is not good, we tried to report an issue with an open water bottle in the room, however the phone was put down on us before we could complete the conversation Spa was very nice however do not answer the phone to book luckily we was on site and we went to check availability, would recommend the spa The room was poor condition with cracked tiles in the bathroom chips on the doors and then the morning after we discovered another guests clothes behind a chair

Had a lovely stay for special family wedding. Beautiful setting and lovely old Hall. If I had booked a standard room I would have been very happy as comfortable bed, coffee and biscuits in room but I booked a Superior room and had a view of a high brick wall and air conditioning units plus rusty side of bath and cracked tiles. Staff were great but one poor girl rushed off her feet in Breakfast room so guests had to clear tables to sit down and hunt for cutlery. Despite this we had a lovely stay and it was clean and comfortable, just a little pricey.

Modernised rooms, great spa and golf facilities. Plenty of space. Room servicing required attention. We stayed 3 nights and the room wasn’t serviced on any day noting we paid the same for each day we expected the room to look and feel clean each day. Dirty Coffee cups and glasses were left and whilst towels were replaced once (which was fine) the servicing lacked attention to detail.

Cleaning in the room was not great. We arrived to a dressing table covered in biscuit crumbs. After using coffee cups and rinsing in the bathroom, we found them back next to the kettle tray, but dirty with dried coffee stains in the bottom. The hotel itself is ok, it’s an old building so will have the quirks that go with that, however maintenance could be better, we have a couple of lamps with no bulbs, struggled to open and close the window. The Spa was very good, food was good. But I’d not be in a rush to return. Staff were hit and miss, some were wonderful and some really didn’t want to be there.

Beautiful hotel fabulous spa.

Had a lovely stay with my daughter it was last minute so only managed to book 2 spa treatments but they were both fantastic. The hotel is beautiful however prices at the bar were a little expensive for what you got and their choice of cocktails was limited. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
