「It was such a charming and lovely hotel. My friend and I each booked our own room. The rooms were spacious and had bathtubs, so we were able to relax and unwind. The staff were always very kind and helpful. There were also plenty of great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. It was the perfect place for a short getaway.」

The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊」

「The hotel was fine, the manager was a good man, but there should have been a fan atleast in the room, it was very warm at night, couldn't sleep. The hotel location is great and the environment was friendly.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「Claverton staff, food, room and gardens all excellent. The functions on 2 nights in function room and beer garden below our room was noisy and therefore took edge off stay hence the 4 stars and would not return in the future.」
