「Still some refurbishment required. Windows round pool area need to be shaded as pool users can be viewed from reception area. We did not use the pool for this reason . Central location good.」

「The signature suite is amazing! Fantastic decor and amenities. The bed was big, but for me the bed was quite hard.」

「Nice estate. Family friendly with lots of activities to engage young kids. Kitchen had adequate cutlery. And was stocked with milk , butter , bread and juice besides the standard coffee station. Full kitchen with dishwasher and laundry machine. Beds were comfortable. Clean bathrooms. Some areas for improvement - shower and toilet were a bit hard to operate. Would be handy to keep some salt and pepper for guests to use. 」

「The hotel is steeped in history. It is warm and charming, the woodwork in the lobby and restaurant transport you to another time. The staff was absolutely lovely. We ate several meals there and everything was delicious. 5 stars!」

「The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs 」
