"While the building is an older one, the room itself was large, bright, nicely furnished, and most importantly clean. The courtyard with live trees is nice and provides a pleasant smell to the property. Parking is plentiful both in front and behind the building, with a circular drive with a covered entrance for loading and unloading. The entire property is non-smoking, which means you won't have to gamble on smoke wafting in your room. In terms of negatives, the elevator is slow and the drainage in the showers is slow. I also wish the TV had some sort of guide so I can see what is playing, it was old-school channel flipping only. The microwave was not plugged in, and the outlet was precarious so I didn't mess with it. It could use a proper power strip. Other than those small things, my stay was perfect and I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a clean budget option. "

"I was reluctant to book a room here because Shorter, AL does not have many options. It was the closest we could find to Auburn when everything we saw was so expensive. This Days Inn has recently been renovated and our room was very nice and clean, even the bathroom. I would definitely stay here again if I have to. "
