「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」

「This location is undergoing some renovations. This is an older property with a large indoor courtyard and swimming pool. While the rooms are typical, the bed mattress is extremely soft with little support. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, but the check-in counter is very small. Breakfast was good, but be advised it is not the typical "buffet breakfast. This is a sit-down menu order only. While our stay was pleasant, I'd probably give some of the other hotels a try if I were to visit...

「The front desk lady gave me room 330 I got there at 1:15 am and went to my room after a long 5hr drive there was a naked person with a dirty room! I was so traumatized! I tried to reach out to the general manager and got no response!! I was moved down stairs and other guests were so loud it was horrible I will never rent a hotel ever again I’ll stick to air bb!!! This was terrible 」

「I absolutely loved the location and amenities, but the breakfast was definitely over advertised. The property had many comments on an “incredible” breakfast. But for two people, we were only given an 18$ voucher which was only enough to get two full entrees at the neighboring cafe, no drinks, coffee, no baked good. To be fair the cafe was lovely, delicious, and very fairly priced. But a little crazy we couldn’t even afford a drink with breakfast with the voucher. Then the Sunday breakfast that...
