「Nice place and very friendly staff. There were a few things that were in disrepair - our thermostat didn’t work. Floors were sticky in many areas. But aside from sticky floors, the rooms were generally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent- lots of good choices and hot food options. Aside from a few flaws, it was a good place for the price and I would come back there.」

「Booked this hotel for the use of the pool for our children on Fourth of July weekend so they had a fun time, unfortunately the pool was closed in the middle of the summer. So we checked out early. I have yet to hear from the property manager to let us know if we can get a refund for the night NOT used. Don’t include the pool in your listings if we can’t use it.」

「Can't beat the price or the location. This is a charming, old fashioned "motor inn" just like we'd stay in back in the seventies. so it gets nostalgia points. Throw in a pool and the proximity to Carlsbad Caverns and you have a nice stay for the price. Definitely recommend.」

「Check in was at 3. When we arrived we were told that our room was not clean and asked to wait 15 more minutes which seemed reasonable. An hour later the room still wasn’t ready. When they finally decided it was clean the “head housekeeper” checked it. She was apparently blind. Upon entering the room the carpet was wet and an unknown liquid was leaking from the fridge. We should’ve left then but 20 hours of driving had us exhausted and we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Somehow we ended up in...

「To visit the caverns, we have to choose a hotel in Carlsbad. There was not much options out there. Everything was OK here, with an unfair price though. However I would assume there hardly is a better option around this area.」

「Check in was one of the best... if not the best I've ever had. She was efficient and pleasant. Popcorn was fresh. Room was ok. Bed was good and comfortable. Room clean . TV channel options were very good. Ac vent had visible build up. Shower head tile was cut out. We were next to elevator and on the 3rd floor (4 floors) noise was fairly loud rm 320. Medium size Stain on carpet between beds. Pool key pad faulty. Pool/ hot tub was clean and good for swimming. Parking sufficient.」

「Huge room so space to spread out. Conveniently located close to huge Albertsons and easy access to Carlsbad Caverns. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is on the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Great option for staying in Carlsbad」

「I like the room because it was spacious and better than most hotels I checked. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel was affordable, so I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.」

「Very worn property. The bathroom was not clean. There was very little light, the air conditioning worked fine, but was extremely loud. I was not happy that they turned off my cardkey 1 1/2 hours before checkout time, so I had 2 bags locked in the room.」

「We had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and so helpful! Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was exceptional and the amenities, like the outdoor grill were perfect. We wish all Home 2 Suites were just like this one!」

「Rooms were buggy because you can turn off porch light and bugs congregate around and on door. When you open, room gets full. Also, laundry wasn’t fully working, but it was free. Staff was friendly and helpful.」
