"I had a reservation and upon arrival, I was informed that my stay was no longer available and was told that I booked the wrong room. The staff claimed I had never booked a double, despite me providing my reservation confirmation and receipt clearly showing that I had. The room that they had on file for me would have been acceptable if I had been traveling alone. However, I had plans with a friend, and the room did not meet our needs. The hotel refused to honor my confirmed reservation or provide a suitable accommodation, leaving us with no choice but to drive around town searching for another hotel. To make matters worse, I have not received a refund, and the hotel refused to cancel the reservation. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled and will never book with them again!"

"This gorgeous classic hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh is an easy walk to anywhere in the downtown area, the North Shore including PNC park and the Warhol Museum, and to the South Shore's Station Square area and the lower Monongahela incline. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The hotel offers valet parking, but a less expensive option is right across the street in the Mellon Square parking garage (where we parked). The hotel has a grand lobby and several options for drinks and dining including a speakeasy in the basement and a good coffee shop. If you are staying in this hotel or any other Omni, be sure to join the Omni Select Guest loyalty program for extra perks such as drink vouchers and room upgrades."

"Check in went very smoothly and our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, nice fluffy white towels and an easy walk-in shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was available however we had to ask for some body lotion, and they did not provide a shower cap. Kitchenette was clean and equipped with all the essentials for quick lunch etc. Complimentary Breakfast was adequate however the area to eat was very small and tables were not cleaned between guests using them. Tables were sticky and dirty. A definite turn off."

"I was suprised that they have thier smoking area right outside the door where two guys were drinking beer and smoking cigars, so that was the first impression. The room was nice but it was late when we got back from dinner and went to bed. The next morning I saw how filthy the comforter was with blood stains and obvious yellowing and dirt at the top. They did come and change it when I said something on our way out for the day. When we returned it had been changed but I noticed a faint urine smell near the door and when I said something the next day on our way out I was disappointed to return to the same smell. Nothing had even been sprayed and there was no communication about it. My mother did not want to make a fuss so I let it go :(. When I realized we had very little toilet paper I called down and was told to come get it. I spent 4 nights there. I was disappointed but the breakfast was nice."
