Staff and the equipment at reception is a real issue. The laptop/computer used on thr day of my checkin was clearly quite slow and unable to process information quickly. I didn't feel the staff member on duty had control of the situation and was flustered quite easily, muttering away. I'm sure it wasn't an easy situation but it didn't come across as very professional to me. Distance to the city centre is a relatively short walk so it has that going for it. Generally from payment, room and staff perspective, there are better options in Sheffield. "

"We booked a junior suite for our pre-wedding night and the room provided was very different to the listing. The only difference between the suite & the double rooms our family stayed in was having a big tv, Nespresso machine and two small sized (broken) robes. We were on the corner, therefore having a lot of windows too. We made the most of our stay, but overall wish we stayed elsewhere. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were very lumpy. The carpet, chairs & lamps had absolutely seen better days. Very dated place, and not worth the price. Staff were lovely though. "
