"If you want to be right in the middle of the CWB action, this hotel is for you. This is a no frills hotel. There is a pool and pool deck and is a great place to get some sun and let the kids swim. Everything is within walking distance. "

"Did not clean room (policy seems to be only cleaning once every 7 days). When we asked for a cleaning, they said they would not. The bathtub and walls were also peeling, and the dishwasher was broken "

"We had a very nice stay and will likely return to this hotel but there were a few snags to consider when booking. We checked in and the room wasn't ready so the hotel put a hold for $458 on my card and texted us when our room was ready (that is nice), and then put another $458 (double charged) on my card when I went to the desk to get my room keys. I paid thru Expedia so only owed $158 on property, rest was for incidentals. The next day they put a hold on my card for ~$3,000, I went to the desk and they said its because Expedia hadn't provided their card but not to worry. The next day they actually posted ~$3,500 to my card which again I had to visit the desk and ask for that to be reversed. The resort could really screw someone if they didn't have a high enough card limit and they should work that out with Expedia directly vs charging paid customers. After multiple trips to the front desk it was resolved. Twice I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. They come into your room and although you've paid for 4 people, leave you 2 washcloths and 3 towels. Once the washcloths never showed up. The hot water mentioned by others was also an issue at peak dinner time showering but was otherwise warm. On the positive side the beach is beautiful and we were always able to find a spot despite not paying for the cabanas. The resort itself was nice and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and fitness center. Wait for elevators can be long at times but we managed. "

"Poolside area was fine. My room overlooked the generators. I had booked a gulf view! The ac in the room ratttled loud noise. Unable to switch rooms. Pricey daily parking. For the amount I paid I expected A+ However the staff was nice"

"The rooms are not updated, but are very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The transportation around the area is free if you stay at Tradewinds. That saved us a lot in transportation costs for the week. The restaurants were all very good and tasty. "

"The place is beautiful, the hot tub is way too crowded. But the location of the hotel is perfect, and the place was spotless , my family and I loved our stay and are looking to come back "

"Not what I expected for almost $300 a night Staff was friendly but couldn’t get a straight answer out of anyone regarding where/what we could use our $30/day credit on. The “restaurant” was open limited hours breakfast was premade items heated up in an air fryer, no ice machine on any floor. Room was a dump! Walls were paper thin, could hear other guests talking, etc, mattress felt like it had a sink hole in the middle. Room was suppose to accommodate 4 people but there were only 2 bath towels. Bathroom was small, clean but not nice looking. Wasn’t informed until day of check in that pool was closed and entire place was under renovation. No discount was offered. Truly disappointing experience given we were there for accepted students day at Univ of Tampa. Hotel was walking distance to campus but will never stay there again."

"The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a regular standard room it was above expectation. The beds were very comfortable. Loved that the hotel did not nickel and dime us for every amenity. Free bottled water, free beach chairs as well as beach towels. Would definitely recommend and stay again. "
