「Room ( i was in No 2 ) was in good decorative order . However there was a Green light permanently on all night by the door that could not be covered / turned off . Additionally when the Water Tank in the bathroom decided to replenish ( quite randomly - not after use ) it sounded like a Helicopter taking off . Very loud , and not conducive to a good nights sleep . 」

「On arrival room felt cold was told they would increase the heat, no difference, half radiator was cold so suggested it needed bleeding. We had to sit woth coats on. They couldnt locate key and was advised they would look for this and deal with it. No update provided. On checkout nobody about to speak to. Radiator still cold room cold. Dined in restaurant. I chose venison casserole however was then told they didnt have the vegetables as advertised and it would come with peas. I had also...

「Receptionist at check in very competent, unfortunately the hotel its self is looking tired and could do with a total revamp. Carpets threadbare, door frames and skirtings require painting. Many scuffs and chips, Bathroom floor tiles broken, general atmosphere within the sitting areas was souless, bar area never seemed to be open. Bed an pillows very comfy tho.」
