The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again.」

「Needed a place close to Shropshire to visit rellys - my wife found this online and the photos and reviews were stellar. The longest, twistiest single lane country road with flocks of bantams took 15 minutes to reach the lodge from theain A road. Crazy! Fortunately, no one came the other direction so only the wildlife provided the hazards. The lodge is a converted barn/stables/something old and quirky. It has wifi and very polite staff. 「Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !」

「We have stayed here on numerous occasions & find the staff are always friendly / helpful. However upon my original booking, it would have been nice to know that the pub now closes at 4pm every Sunday. I was looking forward to an evening meal as it has always been excellent in the past. I do concider the cost high to stay in a pub & considering we were not able to use all the amenities. So I may look elsewhere on my next visit to see family in Leominster.」
