「There were some lovely touches about the general accommodation such as pretty chandeliers, nice artwork and grand mirrors. We were in room 6 which was advertised as lacking natural light, this was fine, but the decor was so dark and such a dull lightbulb, it made the room feel so dingy. There was no plug point near the mirror, so doing hair was difficult. On the plus side the bed was very comfortable and there was a lovely big fan in the room to help combat the heat. Also the bathroom was...

「The propert is very well located and the owner very helpful when we checked in. I have sent an email to the hotel and never received a response - very disappointing. The property is old and the musty smell when entering is quite strong. The room is quite as is bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is so small that is practically unusable - even brushing the teeth is difficult. The room itself seemed clean, there is TV, iron and ironing board, some tea and coffee plus juice and cookies. The musty...

The photos online made the room look modern and recently updated, but in reality it felt very dated, almost as if it hadn’t been refurbished in decades. The room was also not as clean as expected. One of the biggest issues was the lack of ventilation. The room became very hot, but opening the window-door wasn’t really an option as it allowed insects to come into the room. The roof garden outside also looked neglected and...
