「We had a lovely stay. The staff could not have done enough for you. The place is kinda old fashioned but i think that part of its charm. The food served in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast was very high quality and delicious. The staff were wonderful. Apparently the (waiting) staff dont really get many tips, so you may want to tip separately rather at the end of the stay to ensure they get it. It wasnt clear. One little negative, the room was way too hot and took hours to cool...

「The Claverton House Hotel is a lovely, small hotel with good parking, with wonderful grounds and is well located for trips to Battle, Hastings and the Carr Taylor Vineyard. Our family group spent one night in 2 luxury rooms - modern, spacious with king size beds. We had an enjoyable dinner - a good selection of menu options at reasonable prices - and excellent freshly cooked Full English breakfasts. 「We stayed in the Swan Deluxe Suite and wished we'd booked for longer. It looks like it was only recently renovated and it was immaculate, clean and tasteful. Was nice having a separate living area. The robes and slippers were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. The little terrace was nice. If it had been warmer, i imagined having a drink on the terrace, looking at the gorgeous view. The breakfast was buffet style and had so many options. Didnt eat in the restaurant but looked nice....

「The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...
