Comfortable room and staff helpful. Unfortunately Room 7 shower door leaks. Not a problem for having a shower, but I think the owner might want to repair it.
Other than that a very nice hotel.
nice place walk down the road you’ll come to all shops , end of the road a nice Thai restaurant and the tower pub , nice people and better priced items in the area , seafront a 15 min walk or 3 min drive.
Very friendly welcome. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the hotel that I saw. Excellent breakfast and both the breakfast and the stay were good value for money. Very happy to stay again.

Elegant property - room needs TLC
Staff were friendly and the property itself exudes vintage elegance. Unfortunately our room (Room 5 on ground floor) smelt extremely strongly of damp, so we didn't unpack any belongings. Despite opening windows and airing the room, there remained a very strong smell. There is obviously a long-term damp problem with this room which the owners should really get fixed.
Avoid at all costs! Staff entered my room at 4am waking my child and wife and didn't even say anything until I woke and confronted them. Very creepy and weird behaviour and no refund was offered. They blamed me saying I should have locked the door if I didn't want a strange lady entering my room at 4am for reasons that have not been established.

Do not stay here, shocking!!
Mould covered the bathroom walls, old out dated mixed furniture, four poster bed no curtain. The curtain rail missing in most places, which needed a good paint job. mattress kept coming off bed.
No Pressure in shower. Tv put on wall lopsided, no one on reception, and when you finally caught up with host she was rude!! Asked us to leave room a day early she'd double booked room!! Dreadful
My daughter and I had an amazig stay at Tower house. The double room we stayed in was beautiful, the service was amazing and the staff were super frindly, The garden was a beautiful sanctury and the breakfast was lovely. When i return to Hastings this will be my guesthouse of choice easy
Comfortable and clean, friendly staff, but would have been good to have the heating on on a very cold day in May, also black-out blinds/curtains would be great..
Two Victorian villas made into one hotel. A lot of original features and nicely decorated in a similar style to how it may have looked in the era.
Met two of the reception staff and they were very pleasant and efficient.
A lovely room in all all respects too.
I’d definitely book again if I was to come back to the area.
I only needed it for one night business. The host was friendly and the price was very reasonable considering it had its own ensuite. It's a little out if the centre but only 15mins walk from St Leonard train station.
The hotel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very good but extra. There was no heat and chilly in the morning and at night. Parking was on street but easy to find a place.there was staff until 9pm.The staff were cheerful and helpful
The bathroom had an extractor fan that was broken, black mould around the shower tray, the shower tray is unsafe, being very slippery when wet. The bathroom mirror was fitted withe incandescent lighting which gives off heat.
Entrance to the bedroom was through French double glazed doors, the stay holding the door was disconnected. A strong gust of wind could cause injury to someone. The room had cobwebs and the curtains were dirty. The TV was not properly installed, resulting in loss of programs. The bedroom furniture was well used with a staple for some reason half inserted. The bed mattress was flimsy and unsupportive. The doors opened onto a poorly maintained patio area, which was also a smoking area. The result was the during the current heatwave we could not open doors as there were smokers satisfying their addiction. This is despite stickers all over the property stating that there is no smoking on these premises. Premises includes garden and patio by definition.
Entrance to the room was through the main building, which included the occupants area. Where their washing was on clothes airier.
The so called garden view was obscured by a bush. The grounds need attention and the preparation of a bonfire in the middle of rear garden is hardly appealing.
The dining room had a chandelier with a lot of the bulbs missing. A continental breakfast with cornflakes? The crockery was mismatched.
The side entrance is unsecured, anyone can just walk in. Photos are availabl
