「Visited as we had a family funeral with the wake being held at the Bannatyne hotel. As a family we couldn’t recommend it more, we were given a room upgrade which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent with great choice for everyone. Would definitely stay again.」

「Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.」

「Stayed for 1 night on a business trip - greeted in a very friendly receptionist, room was as described online and had a very pleasant stay.」

「Everything about my stall at Powdermills was great. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely and beautifully decorated and the grounds are stunning. I loved it.」

「Shower head holder is broken and you need to hold it manually! Room is next to the road and is very noisy with traffic noise. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits. There is no air con and no fans to lend to customers when we asked.」

「We booked The Relais Cooden beach via Expedia particularly for its location and spa facilities. We had booked the "Cosy double room" because that was all that was left. On arrival we tried to book spa treatments but there were no available bookings during our three night stay. This was disappointing as there was no mention on the Expedia website that you needed to book in advance. Apparently, guests who booked directly with the hotel enjoyed free use of the spa whereas booking through Expedia...

「Near a busy intersection, and noisy at night. Slept well nevertheless. Kitchen closed during week, breakfast only a buffet in room. Near a bus stop useful for possible trips.」
