「Excellent room with everything you need. The team are brilliant and very helpful. We had team meeting there as it was a central place for us to meet and the staff were super helpful arranging somewhere quiet for us to have our meeting. The coffee and lunch throughout the day was excellent as well as my evening meal the night before. Excellent venue and I will be back in a few weeks.」

「We have stayed here four or five times now and always such a nice base to visit family close by. Always a warm welcome and great breakfast to start the day. Warm room and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom is kept very clean. Free parking is a bonus.」

「Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.」

「We stayed at The Grove in December 2025 with our toddler and had a wonderful experience. The hotel felt magical at Christmas, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming throughout. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well set up for a family stay, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. The staff were exceptional: genuinely friendly, attentive, and especially thoughtful with our little one. Dining was excellent, with great options and flexibility for families, and the grounds were stunning...

「Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel offers an excellent location right next to the Watford Junction station, and a 5-muinutes walk to the Watford High Street. The room was clean and well-maintained. We opted for the breakfast and it was a good choice. Not a wide food selection but everything served was of great quality. Very nice coffee too! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.」

「I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights to be near my brother. The host was so lovely and helpful. Big thank you. We had a great stay in the apartment and would definitely stay here again. It was perfect. My mum is 83 and could come through the main entrance. No need to use the fire escape stairs. The parking entrance is opposite the shop Lords hardware shop. Only saying that as there’s lots of options and even my satnav got confused!! Bonus that there were community fire works whilst we stayed...
