• Comfort should be your main priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose clothing is a sensible option, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
• Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks.

The secret is to be organized before you arrive at the security gate. That way, you'll be boarding that plane to Mishima in next to no time. Follow these tips and get your trip off to a great start:

• First things first. Your ID and travel documents will need to be inspected by airport security personnel. Have them close by so you don't have to dig around for them.
