「You get what you pay for. The positives-right in the heart of Old Town, nice rooftop view, clearly an older building with lots of history, breakfast included, the price can’t be beat The negatives-I had a lot of luggage (just returned from dive trip in Galapagos), and had to haul it up 3 flights of stairs and it was a maze to get to, the shower did not drain and there were a few bugs in it, the bed was very hard All in all, I can’t complain because it was very cheap. But I should know better as...

「Great location, very helpful staff. Nice spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was very good. It can be a bit noisy at night due to the location in the city centre but I would stay there again when in Quito.」

「Staff was lovely」

「WiFi was decent but did break up sometimes. Friendly staff but often didn’t have information such as once I asked about laundry and the staff wasn’t sure and didn’t try to help and find out. It’s a budget hostel, good value for the money in the city historic center. You can walk alone at night u til about 830-9pm. Uber is plentiful. Decent traditional restaurants around within walking distance. Hostel is quiet except for the construction - so be mindful if you take naps or sleep in behind 8am....

「Highly recommended. It was the highlight of our visit to Ecuador.」

「Todo me gustó, las personas del hotel son muy amables」

「Breakfast was very good. Just that you get the same thing every day. Breakfast is very fresh!」

「Excelente ubicación para visitar el casco antiguo de la ciudad. Personal muy amable y atento」

「The hotel from outside was simple but once you go inside the doors I was impressed how well maintained and clean it was. The rooms are large and immaculately clean. The area has everything you need to walk to , restaurants, cafes, sites. I felt very safe staying here. They open the front door and lock them when you need to leave. Very friendly staff. They even made us breakfast to go and coffee for our early morning flight.」

「The first night was terrible, I got a room with a terrible smell I got a bad headache, therefore I requested to change my room. The gentleman who worked at night was very friendly and helpful. I got an upgraded room for the same price. The lady who worked during the day (Karla) was very friendly and helped us referring good restaurants near the hotel and things to do in Quito.」

「This hotel is truly a gem. From the decor to the location to the wonderful staff, we had a wonderful stay. It has a great rooftop bar with amazing views and the dinner we had their restaurant was one of the best meals we had on our 17 days in Ecuador. The breakfast was top notch too. The hotel is gorgeous and you are right in the historic center with so much beautiful architecture right at your door step. The staff went above and beyond with helping us get settled and provided us with a lovely...

「Great location, great place to stay in historical center in Quito, 100% recommended. 」

「Ein sehr geschmackvoll hergerichtetes Boutique Hotel, leider an einer sehr lauten Hauptstraße. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Fenster, was nicht alle Zimmer haben. Unglücklicherweise spricht niemand Englisch, was eine Verständigung erschwert.」

「Great hotel, awesome staff. Loved the rooftop bar (great service by Dino). Highly recommended.」
