"This is my second time staying at Hôtel Alfred Sommier, and it remains one of the most charming hotels I’ve experienced in Paris. It has the atmosphere of a private château tucked into the city - elegant, intimate, and full of character - while still feeling distinctly Parisian rather than overly formal or staged. The location is excellent: quiet yet central, within walking distance of many of Paris’ most beautiful areas. The rooms are refined and comfortable, and the overall design preserves the historical soul of the building without sacrificing modern comfort. What stands out most is the feeling of calm and understated luxury. After busy days in Paris, returning to the hotel genuinely feels relaxing. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to travelers looking for something more personal and atmospheric than a standard luxury hotel."

"It was a nice place to stay and if you are confident on the Metro and bus systems a good place to get around to all the Paris they could not check us in early which would be my only downfall after a 25 hour flight lovely staff and room has everything you need?"

"Staff were professional and friendly. Would have liked a bottle of water included in the room rate as well as hair conditioner and carpet in room could do with a wet clean but room and bathroom very clean other than that. "

"From check-in to the delicious breakfast buffet, to the delightful staff, the Hotel DUMINY is one of my favorites. The location is fantastic and it’s boutique and friendly two thumbs up. I would definitely stay here again and again. This is my third time and it’s always been wonderful."

"Ok location, not very clean smelly"

"When I originally booked this hotel, I realized within minutes that I had accidentally booked for the date my flight left the U.S. rather than the date I would actually arrive in Paris. Even though I caught the mistake immediately, the hotel refused to let me change the reservation dates. I explained that I would be arriving the following day, and they assured me that this would not be an issue. Because I had booked the stay months in advance, I followed up again with the hotel several days before my trip — both by email and by phone — to confirm that my room would be held and that I would not be marked as a no-show. I completed every pre-check-in document they sent and gave every possible indication that I would, in fact, be arriving. Despite all of this, the hotel gave my room away. When I arrived, I was told my reserved room was no longer available, yet I was still charged for the extra night — even though they clearly profited from reselling the room to someone else. They attempted to offer me a replacement room without the view I had specifically paid extra for, along with a complimentary breakfast as compensation. Neither came close to addressing the cost difference, inconvenience, or frustration caused by the situation. I would never recommend staying here."
