「Hotel was a awesome place to stay! Liked that it was decorated in the Victorian area! Loved your room was clean! Exploded the hotel. Will stay here again when passing thru!」

「We stayed in room 206. You could put a can by the ac unit, and it would roll all the way across the room to the door. Other than thinking I had vertigo, it was an awesome experience.」

「Literally the best place to stay in all of Durango even for short stays. I always come here and had to go to a different hotel one time and immediately regretted not staying at The Leland House. It’s central to everything fun in downtown and so nice you might not want to even leave your room.」

「Room was clean and comfortable and we stayed here due to its convenient and close proximity to the train station as we were booked to go on the Durango to Silverton steam train the next morning. Breakfast was plentiful but the egg and sausage patties were pre-cooked and then microwaved before being added to the buffet rather than being freshly prepared so not the best quality. Everything else was fine though.」

「Staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The photos do a good job at making the hotel look newer than it is. Unfortunately there were dirty foot prints in the shower and mold in the shower curtain. 2.5 star rating.」

「when we got to our room three hours after check-in time and the bedsheets were dirty and the bed was unmade like someone had just been sleeping in it. When we went to talk to the front desk about it, she said that it was our fault and that she would not be giving us a refund. Do not stay here.」
