"We spent four nights at the Shangri-La and really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes' walk from an MRT station and one of Taipei's better night markets. Our suite was huge and immaculately clean, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The gym was extremely well-equipped. Most importantly, the service we encountered from every staff member was top-notch. Finally, we really appreciated the early check-in (we arrived at 7:00 am and were able to check in right away, with just a small additional fee.)"

"Nice room - clean, modern, and love the hot spring tub in the room. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast was a big surprise, very delicious. The only downside is that our rooms face a large hotel, with not much of a view. Other than that, it is almost perfect."

"Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast selection was minimal but homely. Location of room was not ideal as it was facing the pub street and was terribly noisy into the night. Not for families with kids but great for younger partying groups?"
