Chaiin Hotel was great - perfect location right above Dongmen metro and the post office. Easy access to Yongkang St. and 24/7 7 Elevens. Rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. Dongmen/Daan area is a great place to stay in Taipei!

Convenient location just a few steps away from Dongmen station, and just down the alley is a bunch of fruit and veg vendors. Room is quite small for 2 people with suitcases, but bed and shower were great. A nice area to stay if you prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping districts.

Overall, I'd say Chaiin hotel Dongmen offers one of the most convenient locations in Taipei. The facility is satisfactory in general, though the receptionist area feels a bit cramped and outdated. Also, since there's only one elevator, the wait can be a bit long during the busy hours
