「位置比較偏僻，揸車有少少困難」

「Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.」

「My friend and I stopped here overnight on our way to Cornwall. The area is beautiful and it's a nice old estate/manor. The rooms were clean, but a little dated. It must've been a wedding party that stayed overnight, as we heard all of them in the courtyard and hallways at 7 am, so the walls are extremely thin. Fine for a one night stay.」

「Every thing was really good! Always the same high standard in every way」

「Left stranded outside the hotel after staff forgot to leave keys, after confirming directly with the hotel manager that we would be arriving late. We never were able to use our reservation and did not stay after paying in full. I called earlier in the day to confirm, and they gave me the lockbox location and code, but upon arrival by taxi (after midnight) there were no keys in the box, leaving us alone outside with no car. I’ve requested a refund from the hotel but they have not responded - I...

「I was staying with my 88 year old Mum. We were awoken at 3am by banging and chatting from the room next door. It continued until we left at 7.30am. The room was apparently a room bring renovated with no door lock, just holes where it should be and Yellow No Entry tape. I was told the occupants needed emergency accommodation for the night. I drove 4 hours home on 3 hours sleep. I would not recommend this hotel if you would prefer to sleep through the night!」

「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」
