We had a wonderful stay at the Arran Lodge. would definitely recommend. The food was really nice and the owner who run the place are extremely warm and welcoming. Will surely come back and stay when visiting the town.

Small traditional B and B. Hosts were exceptional. There was free on site parking. Would certainly recommend and stay there again. Great 4 night stay. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely stay at Arran lodge. Owners very friendly and approachable. Room was very clean, well decorated and comfortable. Stayed in room with balcony which was ideal for smokers, we were advised there was no problem with smoking on the balcony. Quite a walk to the marina but good to keep fit. Easy walk to the seafront. Would definitely stay again.

Very warm and welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Homely accommodation. (Stairs to rooms) but we managed with luggage. We only stayed 1 night on our journey but found it lovely and relaxing. Tea/coffee/water available along with toiletries if you forgot to pack any. Good location/safe and walkable to sea front. Parking onsite by request. Would recommend. Thanks for having us. Everything you could ask for. Easy and welcoming at check-in. Nothing was too much trouble. Clean and well appointed rooms. An excellent breakfast, couldn’t fault it. Also a great location, just 50mtr from the train station and bus stop.

Me and 3 of my friends strayed here as we coming down from N.Devon to see a show in Paignton on a girly weekend. The hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them and the rooms were lovely and clean and had extra touches like a basket full of toiletries if you had forgotten anything. We had adjoining rooms with a door connecting them so it made it one room. The breakfast was amazing and so much choice, I don’t know how they do it with what we payed for the 4 of us, other places we probably would have the paid the price each. Definitely stay here again. Thank you. 😊😊😊😊

No request is too much trouble for the hosts, who go above and beyond to ensure a truly comfortable stay. There are also several wonderful beaches within a 10–20 minute drive, perfect if you’d like to explore beyond Torquay seafront.

The location was ideal for our trip, just a few minutes walk from the train station and close to the town. The Arran Lodged looked welcoming from the outside and didn’t disappoint once inside. Lovely homely decor and a wonderfully friendly greeting from Deneys. Check in was seamless and quick and we were shown to our room and shown the basics like how to operate the shower and where everything we might need was. The room was decorated to an exceptional standard, very spacious and well laid out with plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space, more than enough for our short stay. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was perfect and had little touches with regard to toiletries and all the things you might need and may have forgotten! After a great nights sleep breakfast lived up to the rest of the B&B, choices made the night before and everything cooked to perfection, more friendly chat with Deneys & Helga, and then time to say goodbye. We had a fantastic short and sweet stay at the Arran and if we’re ever in the area again, we’ll certainly be spending our night there. Thanks very much for looking after us and making our stay so enjoyable.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at Arran Lodge. Dennis and Helena was wonderful and caring hosts. Took time to chat to us and we felt welcome. Very neat and spotless comfortable rooms with necessary amenities and nice breakfast.

Nice b&b , Deney and Helga were lovely host's . Lovely rooms perfect for a few nights with all the facilities you need and great showers. Easy walking distance into Lovely Torquay. Wouldn't hesitate using again in the future.

Excellent hotel,room was beautiful with garden terrace. Breakfast was very good especially the omelette thats a must.nothing was too much trouble. The hosts where lovely. I could go on all day writing good reviews but i need to learn how to make that omelette it was out of this world my hubby addicted.
