「Nice place, large grounds. We didn’t even have time to make all the trails and walk around the entire property. We spent most days at the beach and the pools. Even the locals were nice on the beach. Plenty of things to do, for all ages.」

「Hotel Cantarana and its staff are truly what made our Costa Rica trip so enjoyable. From before we even checked in, their staff was helpful and responsive regarding check in. 「The property was everything I was hoping for. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful. But what we loved most was the amazing and hospitable staff that was so friendly, and eager to make us happy at any time day or night. We really loved the uniqueness of the bungalows and appreciated the natural beauty. We did NOT want to stay in a conventional high-rise hotel - and Ocho was the perfect blend of luxury with natural beauty. Very convenient and could walk to all of the great restaurants!」

「It’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. The pool is great, and there are hammocks beneath the coconut trees, perfect for unwinding. The air conditioning works well, though there’s no refrigerator in the room. Still looking forward to trying the continental breakfast, but expectations are high.」
